Genoise Sponge cake


3 Eggs

90 grams sugar

150 grams maida

10ml vanilla essence

2mg baking powder

How to make to it :-

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine the eggs with sugar.

  2. Whisk till Frothy and the mixture doubles in size.

  3. Add the vanilla essence.

  4. Sieve the refined flour using a sieve.

  5. Gently fold the flour in the mixing using a spatula.

  6. Grease the tray with oil and cover with butter paper.

  7. Pour the batter into the tray and bake it 180 for 25 min.

Once you take it out from the allow let it rest and cool for about 20 min

Best served with whipped cream or butter cream icing

Your Genoise sponge cake is now ready to be served.
